hatlesslincoln v2.0

Welcome to the new hatlesslincoln.  As I’m sure you’ve noticed, the site has gone through a major redesign.  Aside from the obvious visual change, several modifications have been made to how the site operates.  They are:

1. The ‘meta’ information in the sidebar has been scrapped.  Users can now log into the site and post new messages by clicking on the ‘edit’ link at the top right of the page.
2. The photo gallery has been updated and cleaned, so it should be more responsive.  Additionally, comments have been disabled in the gallery.  Spam was being posted on the comment fields, damaging the functionality of some pages.
3. New users are no longer given the permission to create new posts.  They can immediately comment on posts, but must be given permission to have greater authority.  A few people I did not know were creating new accounts.  I’m sure the accounts are harmless, but the photo gallery was littered with thousands of spam messages.  I don’t want that to happen to the blog.
4. Oh, and I’ve added an ‘About’ and ‘Video’ section to the site.  Their intended purposes should be pretty self-explanatory.

Second Great Depression!

There’s this cool new thing that’s gonna happen soon called the ‘Second Great Depression’.  Basically it means a bunch of people are gonna starve and government is gonna take over everything.  Sounds pretty cool, huh?

So, I bet you’re thinking: “how could I best celebrate the dawn of this new era?”  Well, since you’re young and poor and probably can’t afford gold and/or arable land, you really couldn’t do anything.  That is, until now.

I took the liberty to design some cool new stuff for you to buy, so even though you may be homeless and unemployed you’ll LOOK GOOD!  Check it out.

a hatless lincoln

I spotted an enormous hatless lincoln tonight. I saw him during First Thursdays (first Thurs. of the month all art galleries in SF open to public free of charge)… no camera, alas.

Also - tonight my friend chloe pointed out that when text messaging, you punch the same buttons to write both  ’eat’ and ‘fat.’ Hah.
